1. Who we are
OpuLens Vision Technologies ("OpuLens", "we", "us") builds multimodal AI products — including OpuLens Visioner — that analyze images, audio, and text on behalf of our customers. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.
This policy applies to opulens.technology, platform.opulens.technology, and all OpuLens products and services.
2. Data we collect
2.1 Account & billing information
When you sign up or subscribe, we collect your name, work email, company name, and payment details. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers on our systems.
2.2 Content you connect or upload
To analyze data on your behalf, you may connect sources (social accounts, websites, video feeds) or upload reference images, audio, text, and descriptions. This content is processed to produce the insights you request and is stored only for as long as it is needed to deliver the service.
2.3 Usage data
We log how you use the platform — features accessed, API calls, analyses run, and error events — so we can operate, secure, and improve the service.
2.4 Cookies & similar technologies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences, and limited analytics cookies to understand aggregate site usage. You can disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings.
3. How we use your data
- To deliver the analyses, alerts, and agent actions you configure.
- To manage your account, subscription, and support requests.
- To operate, secure, and improve the OpuLens platform and underlying models.
- To communicate with you about your account, the service, and important product updates.
- To meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations that apply to us.
4. Model training
We do not use customer content to train foundation models for third parties. Reference data you upload for custom recognition is used only to train your own recognition profiles, scoped to your account, unless you expressly opt in to contribute data to broader model improvement programs.
5. Sharing your data
We share data only with:
- Service providers that help us run the platform — cloud infrastructure, payment processing, analytics, support tooling — bound by contracts that require them to protect your data.
- Authorities, when legally required to respond to valid requests.
- Acquirers, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — with notice to you and the same protections that apply today.
We never sell your personal data or the content you entrust to us.
6. Data retention
Account and billing records are retained for as long as your account is active and for a limited period after cancellation to meet legal obligations. Connected and uploaded content is retained for the duration of your subscription and deleted on request or after account termination, subject to backup cycles.
7. Security
We apply industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, role-based access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
8. International transfers
OpuLens operates globally. When we transfer personal data across borders, we rely on lawful transfer mechanisms — including standard contractual clauses where applicable — to ensure your data keeps the same protections wherever it is processed.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data.
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Receive your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent you previously gave us.

10. Children
OpuLens products are not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
